摘要: Stunting is a condition where there is a disruption in the growth and development of a child which indicates that the child is suffering from malnutrition, recurrent infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation that occurs within 1,000 days of life. This stunting can be caused by several factors, including nutritional status and maternal age during pregnancy. Stunting can have an impact on the future of the child so it needs attention. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between nutritional status and maternal age during pregnancy. This research used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The participant of this study was 86 mothers who have children aged 24-60 months, taken by Proportional Random Sampling technique. SCS checklist was used in this study. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. There is a correlation between maternal nutritional status during pregnancy with stunting (p = 0,000 <α 0.05) and there is a relationship between maternal age during pregnancy and stunting (p = 0.001 <α 0.05). The nutritional status of CED pregnant women is more dominant than the age of the mother on the incidence of stunting. The need to enhance nutrition for prepregnant women, pregnant women, and children.
